UEFN MOBILE TOOLS ARE ACTUALLY CRACKED NOW! ??

Listen up, map-makers and mobile warriors! If you've ever tried to W-key on a phone and had the UI get in your way, your prayers have been answered. Epic just dropped a massive buff for mobile creators in UEFN, and it's about to completely change the meta for building and playing on the go.

NO MORE GUESSWORK

Getting a Victory Royale on mobile requires a different kind of skill, and building for it required a ton of guesswork. Until now. The new Mobile Preview tool is a total game-changer. You can literally test your island with mobile UI and touch controls directly in the UEFN editor on your PC. No more deploying to a separate device just to see if your button layout is trash. This means you can iterate faster, fine-tune your map's feel, and make sure your rotations and builds are smooth as butter for touch-screen players. This is how you raise the quality bar to insane new heights.

TOTAL CONTROL IS THE NEW META

It gets even better. UEFN now gives you insane control over the mobile experience. With the Custom Input and Touch Control updates, you can design totally custom button layouts. Change their size, their look, and even give them different states for when they're pressed or released.

Want to hide the jump and fire buttons during a pop-up interaction or a cinematic? Done. The HUD Controller device even lets you hide or show specific vehicle UI elements like fuel and speed. You can even build a completely custom vehicle UI using Verse! This is next-level optimization. Epic even partnered with Paramount and ZONED to create mobile-first SpongeBob islands, using feedback from top-tier dev teams to make these tools even better. Those maps are set to drop in Q1 2026, and they’re going to be the ultimate showcase of what’s possible.

MOBILE IS THE FUTURE

This isn't just an update; it's a statement. Epic is going all-in on mobile, and these tools are proof. With Fortnite now on the Google Play Store in the US and plans to shrink the install size in 2026 with Thin Client, the mobile player base is about to explode. Getting ahead of this curve and mastering these tools is the key to getting your island in front of a massive new audience. This is a huge win for the entire community.

What’s the first mobile-optimized map feature you're going to build with these new UEFN tools? Let us know in the comments!
